CHESPA
More than 30 years ago, the company grew from a small local business into a large group with an international reach. It currently has 14 branches in 7 different countries and delivers its products worldwide. Thanks to its quality and reliability, Chespa has earned the trust of large multinational companies and is the main supplier to numerous factories around the world.
Chespa offers a wide range of printing inks and varnishes, including water-based, solvent-based, and UV-curable inks, flexo, gravure, and digital inks for various substrates: corrugated and laminated papers, coated and uncoated substrates, fabrics, envelopes, pouches, bags, sacks, labels, aluminum foils, and various films such as PE, PP, PET, and PVC.
The entire ink production process is supported by research and analysis conducted in its own state-of-the-art laboratory.
The factory in Poland operates an ultra-modern analytical laboratory that assists in the following areas:
- Determining the water content of organic solvents
- Testing the purity of organic solvents
- Determining the retention time of organic solvents in printing processes
- Determining residual organic solvents in interlayer printing
- Determining heavy metal content in printing inks and packaging
Water-based inks – FLEXI
Water-based flexo ink series for printing on various paper-based substrates (absorbent, kraft, coated, corrugated, bags, and fabrics) and activated film substrates. This product line also includes inks for printing food packaging and inks for water-thinned adhesives.
Solvent-based inks – VARIO
A solvent-based ink family based on PVB resins. PVB inks are primarily recommended for lamination in gravure printing technology and are characterized by very low odor and low solvent retention.
UV inks – QIUVI
A series of inks for printing labels and packaging. Qiuvi inks are known for their high intensity, gloss, good printability, and short curing time, allowing for high-speed printing. They are designed for printing on a wide range of plastic or paper-based substrates, top-coated metallized films, and aluminum. Two types of UV inks are available:
- QIUVIFOOD: A low migration and odorless series intended for printing food packaging.
- QIUVIFLEX: A benzophenone-free series designed for printing labels and non-food packaging materials.
